I have been writing professionally for more than 30 years with 15 published volumes of non-fiction in print, all dealing with aspects of Chicago city history, politics, sports, ethnicity, and urban crime.

Your comments, questions and suggestions are always welcome. However, because of time constraints and a hectic schedule of writing, working and speaking to libraries and membership groups I can no longer respond to specific requests asking me to read and evaluate sample chapters of manuscripts sent to me by writers looking to break into print, or individuals soliciting advice or wanting me to network them with publishers and agents.
